This policy explains what information we collect through flackable.com and authorprime.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Both sites are operated by Flackable, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company that does business as Flackable and as AuthorPrime.

We’ve written this in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@flackable.com and we’ll explain it.

This policy covers our websites. If you’re a client, the information you share with us during a project is governed by the confidentiality terms in your signed service agreement.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you book a consultation, our booking tool asks for your name, email address, phone number, and whatever details you choose to include about your business or your inquiry. When you email or call us, we have whatever you send. If we add a gated download in the future, we’ll ask for your email address before providing the file, and we’ll say so at the point of download.

We don’t ask for Social Security numbers, government IDs, financial account numbers, health information, or other sensitive categories of personal information through this website. Please don’t send them to us through a web form.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records the kind of technical information browsers and servers routinely exchange: browser type, device type, language preference, the site that referred you, the pages you viewed, and the date and time of each request. We use this to understand how people find and use our site.

Cookies and analytics

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognize your browser on a later visit.

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information about your visit, including a truncated version of your IP address. You can opt out across all sites using Google’s browser add-on.

Our site runs on WordPress, which uses cookies for basic functions like security and remembering preferences.

Advertising. We do not currently run advertising that tracks you across other websites. We have run LinkedIn advertising in the past and may again. If we do, LinkedIn’s tracking tag may set cookies on your device, and we’ll update this page before that happens.

Email. We maintain a Mailchimp account that we are not currently using to send mailings. If we resume sending email, every message will include a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your cookie controls. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when a site sets one. Some parts of our site may not work properly if you block cookies entirely. We also honor browser-level opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, where our systems receive them.

Why we use your information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and schedule the consultation you requested
• Provide the services you’ve asked about or engaged us for
• Send you a file or resource you requested
• Understand how our website is used so we can improve it
• Keep the site secure and working properly
• Meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

We don’t send cold outreach. We don’t buy contact lists, and we don’t email or text people who haven’t contacted us first.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t trade or rent it.

We do rely on a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf, and only to do their job for us:

• Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Bookings, for email and consultation scheduling
• Google Analytics for website measurement
• Our website host and its security and backup services
• Mailchimp, if and when we resume sending email

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, where we need to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, in which case we’ll note it on this page.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as we’re in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you come back. We keep records related to client engagements for as long as our agreement and applicable tax and legal requirements demand. Website analytics data is retained on the schedule set in our Google Analytics account. When information no longer serves a purpose, we delete it.

Your choices and your rights

Whatever state or country you’re in, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that’s wrong
• Delete information we no longer need to keep
• Provide a copy of what you gave us
• Stop emailing you

To make a request, email info@flackable.com. We’ll respond within 45 days, and we may need to verify your identity first. We won’t treat you differently for making a request.

If you’re in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of it. As described above, we don’t sell or share personal information.

If you’re outside the United States, please note that we operate in the United States and your information is processed here. Where we handle your information, we do so because you contacted us, because we’re providing a service you asked for, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our website.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website is for business audiences. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Other websites

Our site links to sites we don’t operate, including media coverage, publications, and social platforms. We don’t control their privacy practices and aren’t responsible for them. Review the policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business and our tools change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Your continued use of our site after we post an update means you accept it.
